Early bird registration for GIJC27 will begin in October 2026. To stay informed of the exact date and register quickly, sign up for our newsletter.
We expect more than 1,600 journalists to attend over 150 expert panels, workshops, and networking sessions. The conference is a chance to learn from the best in the business — winners of the Pulitzer Prize and other top awards, pioneers of data journalism, and fearless investigators who have exposed corruption and abuses of power almost everywhere.
The conference fee includes: full access to all panels, workshops, coffee breaks, and lunches during conference days, a cocktail reception, and an awards dinner.

Your conference registration does not confirm attendance. For security reasons, all registrations will be reviewed and verified to determine eligibility. To attend, you must be a professional journalist or an employee of a nonprofit, NGO, educational organization, or similar entity that actively works in support of investigative reporting and data journalism. Non-journalists can get approval to attend by writing to gijc27@gijn.org.
Anti-Discrimination and Harassment
The Global Investigative Journalism Conference is a strong believer in diversity and welcomes participants regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, or disability. Discrimination, sexual harassment, or other inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and will be grounds for expulsion from the conference.
